LOWER LUGG VALLEY ARCHAEOLOGY AND AGGREGATES PROJECT - An overview of the key findings of the Lower Lugg Archaeological Resource Assessment. The Resource Assessment, now complete, comprises the first stage of an Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund sponsored project in the Lower Lugg Valley.

HEREFORDSHIRE MARKET TOWNS ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROFILES PROJECT NEWS FEBRUARY 2008 - Update on the first three market town profiles

EDGAR STREET GRID ARCHAEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISATION - Update on the archaeological characterisation of the Edgar Street Grid in Hereford, undertaken by Herefordshire Archaeology

FELINDRE TO TIRLEY GAS PIPELINE - The reports on the geophysical surveys that were commissioned by Murphy Pipelines Ltd on the Herefordshire section of the Felindre to Tirley gas pipeline have now been deposited with the SMR. The surveys were carried out by Bartlett-Clark Consultancy. The results of the surveys will be integrated into the SMR database in due course. In the meantime, the reports can be viewed at the SMR.

EXCAVATIONS AT CREDENHILL IRON AGE HILL FORT: PROJECT NEWS DECEMBER 2007 - Summary findings of the Summer 2007 excavations, and general background to the longer-term project that is being carried out in partnership with the Woodland Trust, funded by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant.

HEREFORDSHIRE AERIAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY PROJECT NEWS - Update on an English Heritage funded project, designed to survey Herefordshire's historic sites and landscapes from the air.

YOUNG ARCHAEOLOGISTS CLUB - In 2008, Herefordshire Archaeology Service and Hereford Museum will be launching a Young Archaeologists Club for children aged 8-16. If you are interested and would like to receive further information when available, please follow this link to download a form.
