Acknowledgements
Many people have helped me in creating the education pages for this web site. I would particularly like to thank my fellow web site creator Miranda Greene and the two SMR officers, Melissa Seddon and the project originator, Dr. Rebecca Roseff. The supportive Herefordshire Archaeology team also includes among others Laura Shakespeare, Jackie Denovan, Dr. Keith Ray, Tim Hoverd, Julian Cotton and Paul White. Much of the work has involved research which could not have been done without the kind assistance of Robin Hill and the other staff of Hereford and Ross-on-Wye libraries, and all the staff at the Hereford Record Office, especially Sue Hubbard and Elisabeth Semper. The Cathedral Library is a lovely place to work and I appreciate the help of Joan Williams and Rosalind Caird. I would also like to thank the staff at Hereford Museum for the use of images and for allowing access to artefacts. Martin Fowler, LEA ICT projects officer has given much appreciated advice as has the IT department of Herefordshire Council. The art work of Brian Byron and Mr. Simon van de Put has enhanced many pages and I am grateful to them for allowing the use of their pictures. Many people have kindly donated photos and I would particularly like to thank Chris Musson, Derek Foxton and Dave Carter for the use of their aerial photos. Last but not least, I would like to thank our guest authors (the list is growing) for contributing to Historic Herefordshire on Line.
